Meet Dr. Bascomb

Hannah Bascomb is a registered nurse, highly trained educator, Certified Life Coach, and Certified Professional Christian Coach. At the age of 39 she has earned a doctorate degree, was a founding faculty member of a School of Nursing, and became Assistant Professor and Chair over a BSN program. She helps her husband run 3 successful businesses. Dr. Bascomb and her husband were high-school sweethearts and have 3 children. They were foster parents for 5 years and adopted their oldest son at the age of 14. Dr. Bascomb obtained her BSN from MUW in 2008, MSN from UMMC in 2011, a second master's degree in public health in 2016 from MUW and Certified Health Education Specialist, and DNP from Samford University in 2021. Dr. Bascomb became a CLC and CPCC in 2025 from the Life Coach Training Institute, and she is on track to complete the Duke Health and Well-being Coach Training Program this year. Dr. Bascomb also worked as a bedside nurse in the NICU before going into nursing education. After working in academia for 14 years, she developed the W.A.Y. Coaching Program based on the nursing process to help young adults be successful in life. Be on the lookout for her first book which is on track to be published by December 2025!
